Youve several excellent answers already, zen including your own example, which I too detest. But, in addition to some others previously mentioned, I think the one I really cant stand which has not yet been posted is the usage of quotpartyquot as a verb. I dont know why, precisely, but I have always loathed this expression and never use it myself. It reeks of pseudotrendy hipsterloser status and thus makes me deeply nauseous. Please, if you ever hear or see me employ this term not in a completely sarcastic context, that is, shoot me. Do not hesitate. Do not equivocate. Do not pass Go. Do not collect . Do not you get the idea.
